Q: (18557)

DeoxIT Gold is working perfectly on our systems.  What is the lowest temperature that DeoxIT Gold would work effectively?
Also, is DeoxIT electrically conductive? This is for a micro switch applications and we don’t want shorts.
We also are not allowed to use silicone on our electronics, does it contain any silicone?

Hello Miangui,

The fluid technically is not conductive itself, however; it improves the conductivity on the contact between the two surfaces without causing shorts. Even under vibration, unlike other products, the DeoxIT fluid moves and re-coats and seals the surfaces. Providing long term protection.

It contains no silicone or hazardous ingredients.

As for temperature range:
For DeoxIT® Gold: -34 C
For DeoxIT® Gold GxL: -45 C
